Botany is an important branch of biology of  life science that has very good opportunities in the fields of academics , research having very good employment options. The department of the botany was established in the Year 2016. The department is handling the B.sc programme in CBCS pattern with botany, Zoology and Chemistry combination (B.Z.C).

The department striving hard in encouraging the students of botany in building the good academic career with the required curricular inputs and by organizing co- curricular activities like student seminars, quiz programmes , on line plays like “ kahoof “and field visits . the students of botany are also encouraged to participate in the extra – curricular activities like organized by NSS and other different clubs/ cells of the college.
