Principal's Message

Dear Students, Staff and Parents:

NTR Government Degree College at Valmikipuram, which was established with the blessings of the late Chief Minister, Dr. N T Rama Rao on 1988 and it  has been in its current premises since August 2000.  NTR Government Degree College aims to create a supportive and inclusive environment where gifted and talented students are encouraged to explore their potential and achieve their personal best in all aspects of college  life.

Students will be challenged and engaged through authentic learning opportunities that inspire them to develop creativity, confidence and resilience to become independent and ethical life-long learners. We offer a broad curriculum and a range of opportunities for all our students  to achieve excellence in academic, creative, social, cultural, sporting and community endeavours. We value collaborative learning, positive relationships and building capacity amongst our students  to effectively allow them to engage in the world of the future, where problem solving, evaluating, working in teams, communicating, creating and innovating are not only valued concepts, but expected skills, attributes and capabilities. 

we support the individual wellbeing of our students ls and provide a College environment that allows every student to thrive as they work towards achieving their personal best performance. We set high expectations for our girls and work hard to safeguard positive emotions across our school community. We are partners in learning with our students and seek to deepen their knowledge, provide enriching and innovative learning experiences, while also gently urging our girls out of their comfort zone to attempt new challenges. 

We value relationships and connections with the community. We encourage our students to develop respectful relationships with their peers, teachers. We instill in our students  a keen social conscience and the capacity to make ethical decisions.

All the departments in the college are equipped with food infrastructure to effective  teaching learning process. Most of the lectures  are Using ICT in the class rooms as they are supported by LCD projectors, Virtual class rooms and Digital calss rooms.  In addition, Jawahar Knowledge Centre (JKC) and APSSDC are added advantages in the College. All these wings  are driving force  for the best to enhance  the employability skills and life skills among the students.
