Section 4 (1) (b)of the Act, in particular, requires every public authority to publish the following sixteen categories of information.

1.      Particulars of its organization, functions and duties:

  • NTR Government Degree College, Vayalpad is a part of Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Colony, Mangalagiri, Vijayawada, A.P.
  • Its functions and duties are imparting undergraduate education to the needy students after intermediate (10+2) education in conventional courses like B.A., B.Com., B.Sc.

2.     The powers and duties of its officers and employees:

                     Powers of the Principal:

  • Principal is the head of the unit that is NTR Government Degree College, Vayalpad.
  • He is the overall administrative head, under his control the teaching and the non teaching staff works for delivering the outcomes set by the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, A.P.
  • He is the drawing and disbursing officer – responsible for collection of fee and payments of salaries to the employees.
  • He takes care of utilization of budget sanctioned by Government of Andhra Pradesh under various heads.

 

Powers and the duties of Teaching Staff:

  • The teaching staff conducts classes as per the time table framed within the departments and as per the academic calendar framed by S.V. University, Tirupati.
  • The teaching staff conducts internal and external examinations.
  • They participate in spot valuations work.
  • They discuss administrative duties assigned by the Principal.

 

Powers and Duties of the Non – teaching staff:

  • The office staff maintains all records of the college both administrative and financial.
  • They prepare and process bills for salary, government budget and internal funds.
  • Any other work assigned by the Principal.

3.     The procedure followed in the decision making process including channels of supervision and accountability:

  • In college level all discussions are made as per the guidelines issued by the CCE, AP, SV University, Tirupati and the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
  • Channels of Supervision and Accountability:

a.   The staff of the college.

b.   The Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Kadapa.

c.   The Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada.

 4.     The Norms set by it for the discharge of its functions:

The guidelines framed by the department on various subjects are kept in view in discharging the duties.

 5.     The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions:

Government of Andhra Pradesh, CCE Proceedings, the RJDCE instructions, the Registrar, SV University, Tirupati instructions on various subjects related to Government Degree Colleges are used its employees for discharging its functions.

6.     A statement of the categories of documents that are held by its or under its control:

Guidelines/ Instructions issued from time to time related to our college administration by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Commissionerate of Collegiate Education, A.P., the RJDCE, and S V University are kept in the office. 

 7.     The particulars of any arrangement that exists for consultation with, or representation by the members of the public in relations to the formulation of its policy or      implementation thereof:
