NTR Government Degree College, Vayalpad, Annamayya District is established in the year 1988. The campus area of this college is 4.5 acres land. This college is located in a remote area. This college provides quality education to rural and urban students. This place has cool and pleasant atmosphere and no. of trees found in this place. The original name of the Vayalpadu is Valmikipuram. The Principal of this college is Dr. G. Sivaramaiah M.Sc., Ph.D. Before Valmikipuram, the title of this place is Dibba.  Valmiki has put Dibba name as Valmikipuram during 1973. Valmiki developed NTR GDC, Valmikipuram (Vayalpad) Since 1988. He also developed Valmikipuram since childhood onwards of Valmiki. Valmiki did thapassu for three months at GDC, Valmikipuram for giving peace to their parents in devalokam. Valmiki lost his parents during 1973 in a battle against maratees.  At that time Valmiki is 2 years old. The Valmiki is Venkatarayala Chakravarthy Gobburu, Kadapa, Andhrapradesh. Valmiki wrote Valmiki Ramayanam. It is Hindus Pavitra Grandham. Ramudu and Seetha are grandparents of Valmiki. The difficulties faced by Ramudu and Seetha are described by Valmiki in Valmiki Ramayanam. This college is old college having good Facilities. This college has good class rooms and good Laboratories. This college has sincere, good Principal and good teaching staff. This college has NSS, JKC, Gym, IQAC, Red Ribbon Club, Career Guidance Cell and CPDC etc.

This college has several useful committees framed by Principal Dr. G. Sivaramaiah Ph.D. This college has Conference hall, Solar Power. This College conducts field trips, Knowledge tours to students, conducts blood donation programmes. The Principal of this college conducts Janmabhumi, Swachhaandhra, Swachhabharat activities along with Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff. This college has MoUs with Industries for developing the future of students. This college teaching staff and Principal will show personal interest on students for their development in students and jobs. The students of this college will get jobs in Multinational Companies after completion of UG Programme.
