Dr.G.Sivaramaiah., M.Sc., Ph.D., is Principal of Government Degree College, Valmikipuram (Vayalpad) of Chittoor dist. w.e.f 01.11.2025. This Government Degree College, Valmikipuram is established in 1988. This College is established for development of Rural and Urban students. This College is located in good environment and the students will learn good education with peace of mind. This College gives education for UG Programmes for Science, Arts and Commerce Subjects. Well qualified Teaching Staff is present in this college.

The Principal of this college conducts job drives through JKC by becoming tie up with multinational companies of Andhra Pradesh and India. The Principal of this college will reduce unemployment for Valmikipuram and Chittoor dist, students for inside and outside students.

The Principal of this college encourage students towards sports events such as Cricket, Badminton, Shuttle, Volleyball, Tennis and Olympics events. The Principal of this college will take care students future. The faculty of this college gives guidance for Competitive Examinations. This College has good Class rooms, Library, Reading Room, Laboratories, Computers, Internet, Gym, JKC, NSS, Conference Hall, Red Ribbon Club, women Waiting room, Separate Staff Rooms, and E & Virtual Class Rooms, Career Guidance Cell etc., This College has 2f and 12B status from UGC. This College has funding from UGC and RUSA. This College has NAAC B++ Status w. e. f 01.05.2023. This College has Canteen Facility. This College has MOUS with industries for enlighting future of students. The NSS Coordinators and NSS Students will involve in campus cleaning immediately and periodically. The coordinators of college will conduct all Programmes and put in college what’s app. The Principal of this college will send to Director of CCE, AP through GDC Smart campus what’s app. The Timings of this college are from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The students will be regular to the classes and all types of Programmes conducted in the college. The Lecturers will complete syllabus in time, give notes to the students, do help in Practicles, CSP, Internship Programmes. The Lecturers will conduct two internals. The Teaching Staff will conduct Tests periodically and pre-final is mandatory. The Lectures will conduct field trips and arrange invited talks from eminent persons, those who are expertise in their fields. The students use library and reading room. The students read books, prepare notes, and read NEWS papers and magazines during leisure time and in lunch break. The students will prepare for competitive exams at Library and reading room. The Lecturers will concentrate on slow learners.

The students will take job appointment orders during Final Year or after completion of Final Year from Multinational companies.
