Waste management activities in my college are carried out regularly to ensure a clean, healthy, and eco-friendly campus. Students and faculty work together to segregate waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable categories using color-coded bins placed in classrooms, corridors, and common areas. This practice helps reduce pollution and makes recycling easier.

Our college also conducts awareness programs, workshops, and rallies to educate students about the importance of reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling whenever possible. NSS volunteers play an active role in organizing clean-up drives, collecting plastic waste, and promoting alternatives like cloth bags and steel water bottles.

Composting units are maintained on campus to convert food and garden waste into organic manure, which is used for plants in the college garden. These initiatives not only keep the campus clean but also teach students valuable lessons about environmental conservation and responsible living.

Overall, the waste management activities in my college have created a cleaner atmosphere and encouraged everyone to adopt sustainable habits in their everyday life.
